Seasonal Accounting/Auditing & POS/IT Supervisor (1 Position)

Job Description

The Accounting/Auditing & POS/IT Supervisor will be required to carry out and/or supervise general park accounting duties including, but not limited to, the counting of cash, preparation of floats, preparation of bank deposits, reconciliation of statements, credit cards, debit cards and foreign currency transactions, reading/reconciliation of cash register tapes, as well as being responsible for troubleshooting issues with IT and POS equipment throughout the park.

Required Skills

  • Previous banking experience is an asset.
  • Must have previous Supervisory experience
  • Experience troubleshooting basic IT issues and POS equipment.
  •  Knowledge of admissions, retail, and food service operations with a tourism/hospitality background would be definite assets.
  • Experience with PC based accounting systems and software tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance in a team oriented work environment is mandatory.
  • Able to organize and prioritize work according to deadlines and business demands.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be able to support a 7-day a week park operation
