Job Description

Job Gym is currently recruiting an experienced, customer-centric Administrative Assistant on behalf of a well-established and reputable wealth management firm.  This full time opportunity offers a fantastic schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm and a competitive compensation rate of $40 000 to $60 000 annually.  Wage will be negotiated based on skills and experience.  This is the perfect opportunity for candidates that are looking for advancement opportunities within the financial planning and insurance industry.

Position Objective:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer care, performing a variety of clerical tasks and ensuring office processes function efficiently.  This includes managing reception and computerized appointment booking system; preparing correspondence, reports, statements and other material; processing forms and documents; operating office equipment and maintaining filing system.  The successful candidate for this position will be expected to handle highly confidential information regarding sensitive material.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting Financial Advisors to service high net worth individuals, business owners, not-for-profit organizations and estates in aspects of investment advice, wealth planning and insurance solutions
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an aptitude to easily develop rapport with customers and business contacts; In person, phone and email
  • Demonstrated ability and experience of handling an administrative role in small office environments
  • An intermediate level of computer skills; operate Outlook and familiarity with Excel; must be able to learn industry specific software quickly
  • Minimum of Grade 12 diploma, however relevant post-secondary education is preferred
  • Proven record of managing competing priorities, staying organized and handling tasks requiring close attention to detail
  • Must provide Police Clearance Certificate upon hire
