The successful candidate must be able to work 12 Hour Continental Rotating Shifts (7AM-7PM/7PM-7AM)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:$15.00 /hour.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists with all departmental operations including loading and unloading of bottles and wiping and cleaning misprinted bottles.
  • Establishes and maintains healthy working conditions while supporting safety rules and regulations.
  • Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence.
  • Develops and implements improvements for cost reduction, quality and safety.
  • Practices effective communication skills with all associates.
  • Performs any required administrative activities necessary for the department.
  • Performs such individual assignments as the management may direct.
  • Assist with the training requirements of associates as required
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure safety and efficiency.

Shifts: 12 Hour Straight Night Shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

The purpose of this role is to support the smooth and efficient running of all production machinery.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, and adjust production machinery and equipment
  • Performs quality checks
  • Complete product changeovers
  • Working in a faced paced production department
  • Labelling bottle caps and plastic, tamper-evident lids for dairy packaging
  • Keeping a close eye on product quality and ensuring productivity
  • Focusing on working safely

Hours:

Biweekly Rotations (days 7am-3pm, afternoons 3pm-11pm, midnights 11pm-7am) rotate every two weeks.

Responsibilities and Duties

Previous machine operator experience working in a production/manufacturing environment an asset
The purpose of this role is to ensure all product coming off the line is packaged and sent to customers in a timely manner and in compliance to order specifications.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, and adjust production machinery and equipment
  • Performs quality checks
  • Complete product changeovers and coinciding paperwork
  • Ensure orders are packaged to specification and within the production schedule deadline
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with relievers, lead hands and all other production staff
  • Work within competing deadlines and an ever-changing production schedule

Job Description

Stanpac has an immediate opening for Maintenance Mechanics to join our team. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a mechanical environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measurement and testing instruments
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
  • Assemble and align gears, bearings and shafts
  • Maintain effective equipment maintenance schedules and records on all company equipment and tools
