Part-Time Bartender (1 Position)
Job Description
Jordan House Tavern is seeking a Part-Time Bartender to join their Food & Beverage Team! The role of the Bartender is to take food and drink orders from guests seated within the designated bar and restaurant area in a prompt and courteous manner consistent with a four-diamond dining facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
• Meeting established up-selling and sales goals.
• Make drinks for the lounge guests and restaurant servers, strictly based on orders rung through the Point of Sale system.
• Pick-up food from the kitchen and serve it to guests.
• Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
• Keep bar area clean.
• Clean the beer fridge.
• Fill and put away bar requisition.
• Stock bar product and equipment.
• Wipe down menus.
• To create check, collect payment, and settle transactions following standard operating procedures.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• Extensive wine and beverage knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in the field.
• Diploma in Bartending or Mixology beneficial
• Smart Serve certificate required.
• Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset.
