Casual Casual Custodian (40 Positions)
Job Description
Duties:
Responsibilities for the position of Casual Custodian include performing cleaning assignments at various school locations. Must be available Saturday and Sunday ONLY and are able to travel to all locations within the Niagara Catholic District School Board jurisdiction. The rate of pay is $17.26 per hour.
Requirements:
The successful candidates MUST possess:
- Successful completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience, with knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Flexibility and adaptability required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to all sites within the jurisdiction is required
- Ability to organize daily tasks
- Up to one year previous experience in floor care products and approved cleaning methods
- Physical fitness and ability to perform the assigned duties (including climbing ladders and scaffolds)
- Boiler system experience an asset
Hours of Work:
Saturdays and Sundays from 6am up until 11pm
