Contract Cement Finisher (1 Position)
Job Description
A paving company is looking for a cement finisher to help assist their labourers. The job entails moving materials around site, helping with cement finishing, cleaning and various labour tasks.

Job Requirements
- 2 years to less than 3 years experience in cement finishing
- Must have Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves
- Working outside
Specific Skills
- Check form-work, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade,
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement,
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools,
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures,
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces,
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Shifts: 7:30am – 5pm (Shift times can vary)
Wage: Based on Experience $24-27/hr
