Requirements:
Maple Leaf Place, a 20,000 square foot one-stop-shop souvenir store, and attraction has been
serving international tourists in Niagara Falls for over 30 years.
We are excited about many upcoming expansions and renovations coming to the store in 2019,
including the newest attraction in Niagara Falls, The Maple Trail.
We have several full-time positions available for Chocolate/Fudge Making Staff who are reliable,
mature, energic, and positive. They must be available with flexible schedules during
the tourist season (Spring through to Fall). During peak season we are open from 8:00AM –
9:00PM.
A uniform is required for this position.
- Previous experience in the food processing would be an asset
- Must be capable of bending and/or lifting 30 LBS
- Ability to follow policies and guidelines
- Maintaining the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends as require.

Duties:
Responsibilities:
· Make Chocolate/Fudge in different flavors as requested
· Operate chocolate processing machine (High Temperature) safely
· Lifting and handling of material.
· Finished products packaging.
· Stack finished products on shelves or inventory
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner to prevent injury.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
· Ensure equipment and tools are in good working order and available for use when required
· Maintain a positive work atmosphere
· Monitor and record inventory
· Willing to help out wherever and whenever needed.
· Operate the cash register, and handling U.S. and Canadian currency exchange.
