Job Description
The successful Digital Media/Photographer candidate will be efficient in using an extensive range of technical equipment, including Digital SLR cameras, lenses and photo-developing and video editing equipment. Will be trained on editing videos using templates in Final Cut Pro X. Timely development and display of printed and digital photos and videos is essential. Troubleshoot digital media hardware and software.
Responsibilities
Communicating with our guests: putting them at ease, encouraging them and directing them.
Using an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and IT software.
Timely development and printing of photos.
Trouble-shoot digital imaging hardware; report any deficiencies of equipment and assist in the repair process of cameras and laptops
Ensure proper use of all applicable safety equipment.
Assist in dressing and undressing of guests with river gear when required.
Assist in inventory control of paper, digital products, imaging and lab equipment.
Working in different locations, and in different circumstances, to get the right image.
Following up the processing and use of images, discussing technical problems, checking for quality and dealing with clients’ concerns.
Developing expertise with software to enhance images, change emphasis, crop pictures, move objects, etc;
Working outside in all kinds of weather. Working in a lab environment.
Must have own transportation.
