Radcliffe Racing Stable

 

Job Gym is assisting Radcliff Racing Stable with recruiting Experienced Horse Groomer candidates.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Administering appropriate bandaging
  • First Aid delivery to horses
  • Following instructions and directions from the trainer, farrier, veterinarian, or other equine care providers
  • Grooming, saddling, unsaddling, and bathing horses
  • Tacking horses
  • Cleaning stalls
  • Providing hay, feed, rations or supplements, and water
  • Cleaning buckets and tubs used in the feeding process

 

Requirements:

 

  • Groomer’s License or able to get one
  • At least 1 year of grooming experience
  • Able to get to the Fort Erie Racetrack 7 days a week

 

Hours and Wage:

Potential start of mid-April

Hours are 6 hours per day, 7 days a week with an early morning start

Starting wage: To be negotiated
