Full-Time Food Services Cashier/Guest Service Representative (1 Position)

The food services cashier/GSR will ensure the smooth day to day operations of the Food Services division by interacting with guests directly by taking orders and processing them. This position will provide an excellent Guest Experience to all Safari Niagara’s patrons. Must by outgoing and enjoy working with the public and possess the ability to adapt to changing weather. Customer service experience is an asset.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • Ensures the guests are greeted and acknowledged within a timely manner
  • Accepts customers’ food and beverage orders and relays to the kitchen via POS system
  • Delivers customer orders once ready ensuring correct portions and correct items ordered are delivered to the corresponding customer
  • Delivers alcoholic beverages responsibly and maintains that smart serve specifications are followed and only in licenced and designated areas
  • Performs opening, closing and cleaning duties each and every day
  • Maintains the health and safety of designated food service area as well as co-workers
  • Accepts any added responsibilities that may be ask throughout the duration of employment with Safari Niagara
  • Obtains and secures smart serve designation
  • Obtains and secures safe food handling designation
  • Available to work evening, weekends, holidays, and days as required
  • Ability to handle high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work co-operatively with others or independently
  • Promotes a safe and healthy work environment
  • Ability to manage life and work with balance
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
