Temporary General Hoop House Work (40 Positions)
Job Description
We are looking for 40 energetic greenhouse workers, available positions are seasonal from March to October to performer the following tasks.
– Mixing dirt, filing pots, planting, fertilize, spray, irrigate, prune and harvest crops
– Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
– Monitor and maintain healthy crops
– Crop clean up, removal of dirt from pots, heavy cleaning
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy lifting, work in physically demanding conditions. There is a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling. Work environment can be very demanding , damp and wet, hot or cold, noisy and have odours.
This is a seasonal position and you must be able to work full time 7 days a week. No benefits packages are available.
No education is required. Willing to train.
Must have own transportation. Travel expenses are not covered.
