Full-Time Groundskeeper (1 Position)
Job Description
Position Summary: The groundskeeper is responsible to ensure the exterior and grounds of all Vintage Hotels properties are kept clean in a manner consistent with a four-diamond hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
· Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
· Collecting litter from grounds and walk ways of each Vintage Hotels property.
· Emptying all garbage bins on an on-going and regular basis (Niagara properties only).
· Sweeping all entrances, sidewalks and walkways.
· Cleaning all exterior ground level windows making sure to clean restaurant windows while the restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner.
· Cleaning exterior lighting for cobwebs, dirt and bugs in fixtures.
· Having a thorough knowledge of Vintage Hotels’ products and services.
· Cutting grass and or, snow removal.
· All other duties as assigned.
Personal Attributes:
· Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
· Able to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings.
· Able to pay particular attention to small details.
Physical Challenges:
· Must be able to lift up to 20-50 lbs.
· Walking and standing over extended periods of time.
