Caddle is a consumer insights and mobile engagement company that connects brands with their customers. We know what people buy, how they think, and we use that knowledge to help our clients sell more stuff. We’re growing our technology team to satisfy tremendous demand for the Caddle platform from both users and clients.
If you’re able to be pretty independent and can remove most of your own roadblocks before they become major problems, you may have what it takes! Our Stack is currently built on AWS EC2 using Aurora RDS, Elasticache, S3 and mobile apps using Android (Java) and Objective C.
What You’ll Be Doing
● Product Engineer – you’ll collaborate with our stakeholders and designers to build amazing experiences on our well trafficked RESTful backend (Node.js / AWS Lambda & PHP) , our new SPA frontend (React) and building on our new React Native mobile apps. You’ll review pull requests and do lots of refactoring as needed.
● Data Analyst: you’ll answer business questions, do some statistical analysis and get to craft machine learning algorithms.
What you’ve Done Previously
● College or University degree in Computer Science or related discipline
● 2+ years software development experience
● 1+ years experience with PHP
● Some Experience with Node.js / JavaScript
●Strong HTML & CSS Skills.
● Some experience with Test Driven Development (Red Green Refactor, Mocha + Chai).
All candidates must have permission to work in Canada. We expect most of our engineering team will be on site at least 75% of the time.
