The Violin Group is looking for 1 Junior Electrical Estimator. This role is to support the Project Mangers and will be a vital part of tendering, procurement, scheduling, etc. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide technical support to the PM, with emphasis on the electrical estimating. You may be required to travel to job sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
– Review tender documents including specifications, drawings and addendums
– Prepare electrical estimates based on drawings
– Establish and maintain the tendering schedule with updates
– set up reporting systems and procedures
– Send out drawings and procure quotes
– Attend bid-walks
– Calculating material and labour costs
Requirements
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Customer focused
– Thorough and detail oriented
– Works well in a fast -paced enviroment
– Willing to learn new tasks
– Formal education or experience in electrical management or estimating
– Proficient in Microsoft Office
