Robson Foundations is seeking reliable, physically fit individuals who are interested in learning the trade. We offer training and room for advancement for the right candidate.

If you are reliable, able to perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly and willing to learn this may be the job for you!

 

Requirements:

  • Transportation is an asset but must be able to get to work site
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Physically fit
  • Reliable

 

Duties:

  • Move stone and other building materials
  • Light construction duties
  • Breaking up concrete
  • Hand digging
  • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and gravel
  • Assist tradespersons
  • Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
  • Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed
  • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
