Full-Time Laundry Attendant (2 Positions)

Requirements:
Looking for summer employment? Royal Linen Services is located in Niagara Falls, On and is currently looking to hire (2) Laundry attendants. We offer 4-5 day shifts a week with the opportunity to work part-time in the fall.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Cleaning the laundry for local hotels and restaurants such as tablecloths, uniforms, rags, napkins, etc.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
• Perform additional laundry services when necessary i.e. Unloading dryers, assist sorting dirty laundry
Qualifications:
• Capacity to work as a member of a team or an individual
• Must be extremely detailed and able to multi-task
• Fast learner with the ability to follow directions
• Must have ability to communicate well verbally and counting is essential
Requirements:
• Must work weekends and holidays
• Must have dependable transportation to and from work
• No experience necessary but previous experience is a plus

Working Conditions:
• Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting, or reaching for long periods of time
• Ability to work in moderately noisy and hot work environment for long periods of time and communicate effectively in this environment
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds on occasion
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 60 pounds
Salary: $14.00 /hour
