Full-Time Licenced Electrician (309A) (1 Position)

Job Description

Our Talented team is currently looking for. additional electricians to join our group!  If you are looking for a full time position in a vibrant challenging environment.  Violin could be the place for you to grow and apply our knowledge and skills on our projects.

Education:  Construction & Maintenance Electrician Journeyperson, holding a valid 309A license

Work Environment:  indoor/outdoor new construction, renovation, maintenance, service, commercial electrical work

Requirements:

  • clean class G driver’s license (drivers abstract required)
  • criminal record background check required
  • current and valid certifications: First Aid and CPR
  • Ontario mandated certifications for all workers:  Health & safety Awareness Training for Workers, Working at Heights, Violence & Harassment in the Workplace,  Disabilities in the Workplace, WHMIS
  • minimum of 5 years work experience in commercial electrical work
  • read & interpret blue prints, drawings and specifications, troubleshooting
  • experience with up to 600VAV systems, EMT & PVC conduit work, underground services, etc.
  • must have own hand tools, good condition and compliant Green Patch safety boots , basic work wear to suit project conditions

Additional Experience an Asset:

  • CAT5e CST6A terminations
  • Fibre Optic terminations & testing
  • DC circuitry, batteries, etc
