Job Description

Mechanical Technician

As one of the oldest suppliers of processing, bottling, and labeling equipment in North America, Criveller is recognized not only for high-quality equipment, but also for our technical expertise, design services and superior customer service. Our projects are found coast to coast and encompass the microbrewery and winery sector as well as apple cider production facilities, distilleries, pasta sauce production facilities, blending and metering systems for vodka production, tanks and packaging solutions to the bottled water industry and olive oil production.

We are looking for an energetic, organized and driven individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following job responsibilities:

  • Greet customers immediately and/or respond in a timely manner via phone or email
  • Complete orders for parts and fill them in a timely manner
  • Help develop and implement a Quality Control System
  • Supply cost of parts information on repair orders
  • Prepare bill of materials for individual projects and prepare material orders
  • Complete AutoCAD drawings, as assigned by Supervisor, given to our Technical Department; both drawings and electrical drawings
  • Support our Technical Department with customer service needs on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain cleanliness of Technical Department
  • Prepare and maintain product showroom

Qualifications:

  • Bright, energetic professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a service team in a faced paced environment
  • High level of initiative, creative thinking, decision making and problem resolution skills
  • 1-3 years management experience an asset
  • Experience with AutoCad an asset
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic components are required
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field considered an asset
  • Experience in beverage industry (wine, beer, spirits) considered an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License (Mandatory) and Canadian Passport (an asset)

  • Ability to learn quickly is essential
  • Results-oriented, highly organized and ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment
  • Internet savvy and proficient in computer application programs
  • Time management skills with an ability to manage multiple inquires with time-sensitive deadlines
