Job Title: Media Coordinator
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $30,000 ~ $40,000 per year
Location of Work: Niagara Falls, ON

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project management to ensure timely creation of high-quality videos to meet the business objective. This includes coordination of various roles involved in this project, obtaining proper consents and approvals, managing production schedules and reporting on progress and deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into detailed requirements and work with external video production teams through design, development and release.
- Work with key stakeholders to advise on and execute video production, including. recording, filming, and creation.
- Manage end-to-end production of each video to achieve business objectives, including working with subject matter experts and writers to develop scripts, storyboards, manage filming, production coordination and oversight of post-production (editing/color correction/audio mastering, adding subtitles or closed captioning)
- Management of outsourcing to external vendors (production houses, freelancers, etc.)
- Managing video budgets
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of video editing experience
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent in Film Studies, Media Production, or a related field is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Acrobat Photoshop.
- Certification in Audio / Video, Production, Project Management, Web Development, Graphic Design or Photography are assets.
- Familiarity with Digital Media, Communications / Media or web-based technical environments are assets.
- Working experience in web-site production, content organization and management, migration, usability testing is required.
- Ability to setup audio and video equipment and programs and provide alternative setup or workarounds if necessary.
- Strong competence to manage a variety of simultaneous projects within tight deadlines, excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong aptitude to understand client requirements with excellent written and verbal communications skills to clearly communicate the complexities of content management systems and applications to clients, vendors and internal groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms is an asset.
- Written and verbal fluency in both English and Chinese is beneficial.
