Our customers depend on our Produce Department to provide excellent products and accurate knowledge when it comes to purchasing produce for their families. In the role of a Produce Prep Clerk, you will play an integral role in ensuring customers are able to shop our produce department for the products they are looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Prepping for instore salads, cut fruits, cut veggies, fruit/veggie trays;
- Greeting customers and answering questions in a friendly manner, making product recommendations and accommodating special requests;
- Preparing, packaging, sorting, and pricing/labeling goods for customers;
- Complying with all Commisso’s policies and procedures and maintaining customer confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
- Knife handling skills and experience with basic food equipment;
- Food safety certified an asset;
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds;
- Must be able to stand at workstations for extend periods of time;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Available to work days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Commensurate with experience.

Job Type:
- This is a part time job 24-30hrs a week with hours going up during busy times (Christmas / Holidays)
