Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer and much more. Summary of Responsibilities

 

Our Marketing operations is committed to a work environment that demonstrates and supports the Marriott core values and culture of putting people first, acting with integrity, serving our world, embracing change and pursuing excellence. We are currently looking for an energetic, self-motivated and highly detailed individual to support our Marketing Team in the planning and organizing successfully of all marketing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the production and distribution of marketing collateral for various areas of operations for the Marriott on the Falls and its affiliated properties through various stages of production.

 

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, the Production Marketing Coordinator responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and track overall program schedules and development/proofreading and production of all marketing collateral.
  • Obtain quotes and coordinate production details with the vendors/suppliers.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with marketing team and outside vendors to create project marketing materials.
  • Attend review meetings to ensure that production is on schedule.
  • Liaise with project and production teams for accurate and timely completion of all marketing materials through vendor follow up.
  • Ability to monitor status of marketing creative and production timelines/deadlines through various production stages with suppliers
  • Respond to inquiries regarding upcoming and past production projects.
  • Manage and maintain purchase orders and external costs by processing and entering of marketing invoices.
  • Assist in the production of monthly or annual reports, or in the development of responses to Information requests from internal parties.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • University/College degree in Marketing is preferred.
  • Must be customer service orientated.
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
  •  Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently.
  • Good verbal and written communications.
  • Expertise with excel and other Microsoft office products.
