PROFESSIONAL PAINTER
Job Gym is currently assisting Chip Painting to recruit a Professional Painter. Chip Painting specializes in interior and exterior painting in residential settings. They are based out of Thorold but service the entire Niagara Region.
The employer is considering hiring 1 full time person, or 2 part time individuals. Work sites will vary throughout Niagara. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Wage will be negotiated between $14-$18, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Ø Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping and sanding; repair cracks and holes in walls; sandpaper and apply sealer
Ø Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture
Ø Apply paint or other materials, using brushes, rollers or spray equipment
Requirements
Ø Must have own vehicle, valid drivers licence and adequate vehicle insurance
Ø Must have a working cell phone that can be used during business hours for regular communication with employer
Ø Previous relevant experience is an asset
Ø Working at Heights certification is an asset but not mandatory
