Job Description
Home Lighting has built a strong reputation in the community for its astonishing assortment of high quality lighting fixtures and the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service.
With six locations throughout Southern Ontario, each Home Lighting store is an experience, with every available inch displaying their excellent product.
Home Lighting is looking to fill a full time Showroom Sales Associate position at our St. Catharines location.
What does a Showroom Sales Associate do?
- Assists homeowners, designers and contractors with their lighting needs
- Ensures that all customers receive outstanding service and follow up in a timely, professional manner
- Maintains detailed and organized records of sales and customer requests
- Helps to merchandise and style the showroom to present our products in a visually appealing setting
Qualifications:
- Full time; must be available to work alternate Saturdays and Sundays
- Retail experience is required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues
- Ability to interact professionally with our customers
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to lift approx. 25 pounds. Ability to lifting stock will be necessary
- Electrical experience is an asset but not necessary
