Full-Time Sealing Labourer (1 Position)

Job Description

A Niagara employer is looking for a reliable and dependable labourer to assist with sealing and mason repair.

The person in this position will hold the following skill set:

  • Able to stand, bed, lift, crouch, sit for extended periods of time repeatedly throughout the day
  • Have a valid driver’s licence
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Able to work in outdoor weather conditions

The candidate in this role will perform the following duties:

  • Move earth, stone and concrete using a wheel barrow
  • Operate a concrete saw and breaker
  • Install weeping tile, stone and concrete
  • Power was foundations and cisterns
  • Apply materials to foundations and other structures
  • Lay down wire mesh and prepare for concrete pouring
  • Concrete finishing
  • Installing waterproofing materials
  • Creating concrete forms

The following assets would be preferred by the employer:

  • Experience operating concrete saws and breakers
  • Experience operating mini excavator, bob cat or dump truck
  • Experience with concrete finishing

The position is part time to start moving into full time

Starting wage DOE is $13.00 per hour.
