Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Tutor students in Math and/or English in grade levels from grade K to 12th grade
• Grade homework assignments, tests, and/or essays (no work is required outside of class time)
•Maintain student progress reports

Position Specifics

• Create a fun and supportive learning environment
• Instruct and teach students in Math and/or English
• Keep detailed records of student progress
• Communicate with parents when needed

Requirements

• College (current enrolled or graduated) or higher majoring in Math, education, or related field
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and teach the class on his/her own
• Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner
• Special consideration for those who want to be teachers

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
