Fall Protection Training

This 3 hour course is designed for all workers exposed to a fall of more than 3 meters, into a hazardous object or machinery, falling through an opening or into water. The course is based on the internationally recognized CSAO curriculum and incorporates CSA standards with other best practices. The theoretical study is reinforced with a highly visual presentation incorporating pictures and video from all sectors. The course is well rounded with a practical demonstration of the fundamental equipment and PPE.

Learning Objectives:

• Provide participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient use and care of fall arrest equipment.
• Review Occupational Health & Safety Act Regulations
• To insure all participants are knowledgeable in when and how to use fall arrest protection.
• Give each participant an opportunity to use a safety harness and adjust correctly to his or her body type.

A quiz verifies the learning and a wallet card is issued for successful completion.
