Job Title: Baker’s Assistant

Portage Bakery is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Baker’s Assistant.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the rest of the team.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS rules and regulations.

Duties:

  • Work with different types of dough to create a variety of bread products.
  • Utilize machines to shape and mold dough into buns, rolls, and other bakery items.
  • Operate ovens to bake products according to specified recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with WHMIS rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Clean and maintain your workstation, equipment, and tools after the baking process is complete.
