Full-Time Bilingual Customer Service – Order Entry Representative (1 Position)

Job Description

Westridge HR, on behalf of our client is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service – Order Entry Representative to be based in the Niagara Falls area.

Working collaboratively with all members of the Customer Accounts team, the Bilingual Customer Service – Order Entry Representative processes incoming orders and responds to customer inquiries (telephone and webchat) in either English or French (as appropriate); providing information regarding general inquiries and product recommendations, use, training, etc.

With a substantial core customer list, our client is well established and positioned for continued success.   Their renovated offices provide a comfortable working environment and they are conveniently located for commuting purposes, with ample free parking.  This company has seen positive commercial expansion over the years; now operating with multi-sites and multi-subidiaries (though this role will be based at their Niagara Falls location).

Job Type: Regular Full-time

Shifts: Daytime (M-F)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience; competitive benefits and retirement savings program

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishes excellent relationships with customers, understanding their business and how we can add value;
  • Provides customers with product availability and pricing information;
  • Processes all incoming orders according to product availability/lead times and delivery schedules;
  • Responds to customer inquiries; escalating to appropriate internal stakeholder(s) as required;
  • Researches delivery and/or invoicing discrepancies as well as quality concerns; working with the customer on a resolution (which may involve issuing credit or handling returns); and
  • Assists with general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

 Experience & Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma / GED;
  • Fluent in English and French languages; both verbal and written;
  • 3+ years experience working in Customer Service – Order Entry role;
  • Experience working in a high SKU environment;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; strong multi-tasker & team player;
  • Ability to respond to customer concerns using a calm and involving approach; knowing when to escalate issues/concerns requiring additional support/assistance; and
  • Willingness to educate customers on other related products of interest.
