Milestone Millwork is currently looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our growing team, in a full time, permanent position. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Compensation to be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Set up and operate woodworking equipment, power tools and hand tools

· Ability to read blueprints

· Measure and mark outlines on parts

· Cut, shape, form and trim material using woodworking equipment and hand tools

· Dry fit parts together, then assemble using screws, staples, glue and clamps

· Apply plastic laminate and wood veneer using spray contact

· Sand wooden surfaces

· Install cabinet hardware

· You will be responsible for knowing and practicing safe working methods, and have a strong knowledge of shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, quality control and safety equipment.

· You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area, conducting regular maintenance of tools and machinery and assisting other carpenters and cabinetmakers

· You will be required to complete tasks based on quality and in a timely manner, as other cabinet makers, past and present in our shop.

· Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Requirements

· 2 year minimum of previous cabinet maker experience

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Must be punctual and reliable.

Work Conditions:

· Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.

· Manual dexterity required to use power and hand tools.

· Frequently noisy working environment.

· Minimum 43 hours per week. May be asked to work extra hours when we’re busy.

· Use of safety glasses and steel toe boots required.
