We are Mid City Mechanic, a 3-bay mechanic garage with a storefront and reception area. Conveniently located in the heart of Niagara Falls. We are a division of Mid City Motors Niagara Inc., which is a used car dealership located on the adjacent property.
We are looking for Canadian-Licensed Auto Mechanics to join our growing business. You are skilled in vehicle inspection, diagnosis and repair. You will be responsible for inspection and maintenance on vehicles from Mid City Motors’ lot inventory, as well as vehicle repair service from our customers and retail business.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Canadian-Licensed Automotive Mechanic. (required)
- Canadian Driver’s license. (required)
- References are a must.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge in; automotive parts, accessories, service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, auto service environment.
- Communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale software.
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to listen effectively, follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Be accountable for the quality of work.
- Positive attitude & outgoing personality.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Able to build customer loyalty, retention & trust, and maintain professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete vehicle inspections, diagnostics, estimates and repairs.
- Perform tasks within time allowances.
- Maintain daily shop cleanliness.
- Keyholder duties – opening and closing shop.
