French Elite Montessori school, newly established in the Niagara region providing a full French immersion environment, is seeking a MACTE/AMI accredited Montessori Casa teacher.

This is a full-time, contract position, renewable year to year. Contracted hours of work: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar.

Attendance also at pre-planned school events/meetings/open houses on occasional weekends/evenings. July off, August Summer Camps running.

French Elite Montessori school is family owned and operated. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education, and are committed to providing an authentic French Immersion Montessori education to our children.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma (MACTE/AMI) with a min. of 2 years of experience or RECE
• Experience working with children ages 30 months-6 years old in a Montessori environment
• Reliable attendance
• A love of children and Montessori approach to learning
• Effective behaviour management
• Positive, warm approach
• Fluency in spoken French would be a strong asset
• Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
• Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment:
  • 2-Step TB test
  • Updated immunizations
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
