Full-Time Cleaner (1 Position)
Job Description
We are looking for an energetic full-time staff member who will be assisting experienced Content and Cleaning staff in all aspects of mitigating losses and returning affected property to pre-loss condition. Typical duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning after losses such as water, wind, fire/smoke damage and vehicle impacts for residential and commercial clients. Taking electronic inventory, cleaning contents on site or at shop, packing and unpacking of boxes. Cleaning of floors, walls and ceiling surfaces.
We are seeking individuals to train to become trained as a Certified Cleaning Technician. This involves some physical work, which would include but not be limited to carrying equipment and construction debris. You must be willing to work in dirty environments.
Miller Restoration DKI provides competitive wages and is willing to provide training and industry specific certifications. Our goal is for you to be trained as an IICRC technician, Miller will pay for training and your hours to go to such courses. There is often an opportunity to work overtime. We have a dedicated staff and work environment that provides structure and advancement. We would like the opportunity to meet with you to see if you would be a good candidate for our team. Starting wage is negotiable and has the potential to grow as certifications and level of responsibility are obtained. If you have prior professional cleaning experience and/or years of service, this will also have an impact on a starting wage.
Job Requirements
- Good Communication skills with our Team and Clients
- Maintain company equipment
- Maintain company vehicles (includes inspections, maintenance and cleanliness)
- Follow company procedures and protocols including health and safety guidelines
- Possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s license with no restrictions
- Overtime available throughout the year
- Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check
