Job Description
Qualifications
- Must have Food Handler’s Certificate
- Preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience in the food service industry & working with seniors, minimum 2 years experience required.
- Demonstrates an understanding of excellent customer service skills.
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for majority of shift
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking for for residents, following recipe is mandatory
- Able to use various kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Assisting with the supply orders.
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Lifting to a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Follow sanitation land infection control policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
