JOB POSTING – Dietary Service Attendant

Shifts 3:45 pm – 7:30 pm

An opening exists for a part-time Dietary Service Attendants who are responsible for setting up the dining room, serving meals to residents and clean-up duties.

Skill and Competencies Required:

  • Serve prepared food and beverages to residents according to menu, may assist with food preparation, primarily dinner service.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing of dinner tables according to established procedures
  • Clean and wash dishes, cutlery and other food service items using equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, and food preparation equipment
  • Must understand infection control procedures and protective equipment
  • Be available to work weekday and weekend shifts according to schedule.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be capable of following written and oral instructions
  • Effective time management skills with completion of duties
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to resident care and help as needed

**Training provided**

Candidates must be fully vaccinated (and show proof), provide a current vulnerable sector police check (applies to over 18 years) and negative TB screen.
