Sure-Fix Service Group is a mechanical company based in the Niagara Region for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on great customer service and quality workmanship. We are looking for candidates to fill an administrative roll. The successful candidate will be considered for a full time, permanent position.

This is a full time, permanent position. Hours will typically be Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, however some overtime may be available during peak business times. A competitive wage will be provided, in line with the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

Position Overview: 

The primary function of this role is communicating with customers via phone or email to gather details regarding their repair or maintenance needs and then dispatching and coordinating on-site technicians to provide service to customers. Additionally, the person in this role will support office related tasks.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving requests by phone or email from customers for emergency or planned service
  • Processing and transmitting information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of trade technicians using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
  • Dispatching personnel according to written schedules and work orders; adjusting staffing as needed to meet daily changing priorities
  • Monitoring personnel workloads and locations
  • Maintaining records and processing paperwork using computerized or manual methods; may include time sheets, payroll summaries, invoices, records of mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess at minimum a high school diploma; further education or formal training in a relevant field is a strong asset
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills and experience are required in order to be successful in this position
  • Above average communication skills is necessary to coordinate the team and assertively delegate tasks and organize others while maintaining positive work relationships
  • Excels in a fast pace, high demand work environment
  • Analytical, with proven problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to build rapport with customers and keep calm during high stress situations
