We are a highly reputable and quickly growing local moving company serving the Niagara Region from Grimsby to Fort Erie! We are currently hiring drivers for part time, and casual positions with to become
full time after probation period. NOTE: This is a labor intensive position and moving furniture in and out of homes and on and off the truck will be a large part of the job. There are no guaranteed hours; however
drivers typically average between 30 and 45 hours a week.
We are currently looking for individuals who:
· Are physically fit and willing to work hard (able to lift 100lbs repeatedly)
· Have strong verbal communication skills
· Understand the value of customer service
· Hold a valid G class license preferably with 3 years clean driving record
· Have strong spatial reasoning skills (loading the truck efficiently)
· Possess attention to detail for completing required daily paperwork
Job details:
· Moving furniture and boxes in and out of homes and businesses
· Driving a 26ft straight truck to and from job sites
· Completing daily paperwork with customer related to the move
· Loading and unloading a truck
· Physical lifting
· Use of equipment such as dollies, lifting straps, bungee straps, and ratchet straps
· Creating positive customer experience
· Working and communicating as part of a team
Part-time hours: 20-44 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $14.50-$19.00 per hour
