Job Description

With over 800 locations, A&W is Canadian owned and one of Canada’s fastest-growing restaurant chains. Our location at Glendale, Ontario is now hiring for Full-Time Cashier/Cook Position.

Duties:

• Take customer orders
• Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items
• Portion, assemble, wrap and package food for take-out or eat in
• Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
• Stock refrigerators
• Receive payment for food items purchased
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, work stations and public areas

Qualifications:

• Food Service/Hospitality experience is preferred but not required
• Driven and focused
• Able to work with others and independently
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Ability to work in fast pace team environment
• Ability to use safe and hygienic food handling practices
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
