Full-Time General Labourer (1 Position)

Job Description

Job Gym is assisting Melon Framing and Carpentry in filling a General Labour position.  This position requires an individual who is reliable, dependable and not afraid to work from heights.

 

Duties:

  • Work with a small team to frame residential buildings
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools such as saws, industrial staplers and industrial nail guns
  • Communicate with team to ensure jobs are being completed according to blueprints
  • Measure and cut wood according to dimensions of the building

Requirements:

  • Must be a team player who is willing to learn
  • Working from Heights Certification or willingness to obtain the certification
  • Must be comfortable working around power tools and from heights
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs consecutively throughout the day
  • Must have a drivers license and access to a vehicle
