Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Perform frame carpentry work to support electrical installations
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on electrical systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training in electrical work or millwrighting
• Valid electrician’s license or certification, or valid millwright ticket
• Proven experience working with high voltage systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to perform basic maintenance person tasks, such as renovating or building structures as needed

This position requires a skilled Industrial Electrician who can effectively read schematics, perform frame carpentry work, work with high voltage systems, and has a strong understanding of blueprint reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. They will also need to troubleshoot electrical issues, test systems for proper functionality, and collaborate with other tradespeople. A valid electrician’s license or certification is required along with a high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to perform basic maintenance person tasks is also necessary for this role.

Rotating schedule: 7:00am – 3:30pm, 2:30pm – 11:00pm and 11:00pm – 7:30am
