Position: Insurance Service Brokers, KTX Insurance Brokers (Welland)
Opportunity
We are looking for energetic and customer focused individuals to join our team as Insurance Service Brokers. You will work closely with customers to assist in their requests for policy renewals, changes in existing coverage, adding new drivers etc. You bring strong attention to detail while continuing to deliver a high level of professional customer service.
No experience required. We will train you! We provide an 8 week intensive paid training program to help assist you in acquiring your RIBO License.

Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities of the Insurance Service Broker will include but not limited to:
- Provide friendly, professional service at all times
- Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation
- Process renewals and endorsements
- Process quotes for auto and property insurance
- Apply changes to existing policies
- Anticipate clients’ insurance needs, such as policy renewals
- Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters
- Research insurance companies’ policies and negotiate with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price
- Stay current with changes in the insurance market and in the clients’ industries
- Prove claims assistance
- Win accounts against competitors
- Provide assistance with payment issues
- Achieve monthly targets and goals
- Work as a team to answer client phone calls and emails in a timely manner

- Competitive Salary and an annual performance bonus- during training Salary of $37,000, once training is successfully completed you will move up to Salary of $40,000

Scheduled Shifts: we are open 8-8 Monday to Friday and 10-4 on Saturday
Shifts will be either 10 AM- 6 PM or 12 PM- 8 PM (you will be scheduled for 5 afternoon shifts over a 4 week period) and you will be scheduled for 1 Saturday per month.
