Billyard Insurance Group is looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our Underwriting team at Head Office in Welland. If you thrive in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment, we encourage you to apply. No previous experience is required. This position may also contribute to other projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Review documents for accuracy and completion
• Ensure policies adhere to underwriting guidelines
• Enter data into insurance company portals and websites
Attributes:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry
Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year of office administration and/or customer service experience
• Previous experience in insurance is an asset
• RIBO license is an asset
Required education:
• High school or equivalent
