Inventory Control Clerk (Afternoon Shift)

Facility: CannaCure Corporation, subsidiary of Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp
Location: Fort Erie, ON
Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00PM to 11:30PM; subject to business needs
Start Date: Immediate
Start Wage: Competitive, commensurable with experience
Reports To: Production Manager or Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the organization and maintenance of materials on-premises. S/he will record purchases, maintain database, perform physical counts of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports. S/he will be required to receive, unpack, and deliver items to requesting departments.

Job Duties

  • Organize material inventory in the warehouse and vault
  • Deliver materials into Production area as needed
  • Maintain records of deliveries and materials received and transferred
  • Perform inventory control to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Maintain inventory reports according to standard documentation and archiving procedures
  • Ensure that materials received are in accordance with purchase order specifications
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report any stock issues to management
  • Analyse and troubleshoot inventory control problems in a timely fashion
  • Prepare and submit inventory control reports to supervisor
  • Assist in the development and implementation of efficient inventory management procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safe work practices, Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable regulations
  • Assist in any task the Head of Facilities designates as an immediate priority to preserve the physical or environmental security of the building, contents, or staff
  • Attend any training session designated by the Company
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in inventory management is an asset
  • Experience with ERP system an asset
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or delivery goods
  • Microsoft Office _ Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Excel – Intermediate skill
  • Multi tasking and Multi Process proficient
  • Clean criminal record
  • Reliable attendance is mandatory

Working Conditions

  • Available for work on the weekends as needed
  • PPE Required: Scrubs, gloves, hairnets, and safety shoes

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for long periods of time
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
