Hiring a Janitor / Light Duty Cleaner to join out team!
Job Details:
This role offers shifts of 4 hours per day at one building with another 4 hours at a different building twice per week (Some flexibility to choose shift hours within the 7am-4pm timeframe). Hours will always fall between Monday to Friday – no weekends! The position is available immediately and starts at $16.55 per hour. There are opportunities for advancement.
The person in this position will be assigned to our contract with Niagara Regional Housing to clean their multi-resident buildings. (Both locations are in Niagara Falls and close enough to visit within the same shift) Second location currently will only be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Duties will include cleaning the common areas:
- General cleaning of main lobby, washrooms, elevators
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Washing walls and windows
- Cleaning and sanitizing high touch points
- Maintain the garbage room and taking all garbage and recycling out on designated days.
*The person in this role does not clean the residents individual units.
Main requirements: Positive attitude, reliable/dependable, able to work independently/with no supervision and stay on track to complete tasks
