Full-Time Landscape Construction Labourer
Job Description
Bosma Landscape Service is grounds maintenance and landscape design company nestled in the heart of Niagara Wine Country. We are currently seeking both summer students and individuals interested in full-time employment with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our growing team within our Construction division.
What will you be doing?
As part of the construction division, you will participate amongst a team of hardworking, dedicated and knowledgeable crews in a wide variety of residential and commercial projects.
- Work alongside crews in the build of all residential and commercial construction projects including interlock patios, driveways, walkways, retaining walls, fencing, water features & more
- Operate various pieces of equipment including but not limited to, skid steers, mini excavators, powered hand tools such as stone and saws, tampers and others
- Safely and appropriately load and secure equipment onto trailers
- Effectively communicate with on site clientele and co-workers to ensure seamless project completion
- Complete paperwork as required
- Attend project and safety meetings as necessary
- Participate in snow removal practices throughout the winter season
- Adhere to all legislative and company policies and procedures

- We are seeking both entry level and experienced candidates to join our growing teams
- Post secondary education in the construction industry or relevant experience is a strong asset
- Previous experience in the landscape construction industry is an asset
- Horticulture and equipment experience and knowledge is a strong asset
- Successful candidates must be able to work safely and effectively in extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat) and physically demanding tasks throughout the day (i.e. lifting, bending)
- Strong communication skills to effectively work alongside co-workers to ensure a job well done and a satisfied customer
- Class G driver’s license is an asset with experience with driving commercial vehicles: dump trucks, trailers etc.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs

- Must be able to report to our yard located in Beamsville
