Seasonal Landscape Labourers (Multiple Positions)

Job Description

We are hiring!  These Landscape Labour positions are seasonal, starting now and going until approximately October.  Positions are available immediately.

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees
  • Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor
  • Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment
  • Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

 

Qualifications and attributes required for this position include:

  • Drivers licence and reliable transportation
  • Dependable to attend all shifts and be on time
  • Physically fit to perform very demanding tasks
  • Able to handle long hours in the heat, rain and sun
  • Appropriate workwear, including steel toed shoes
