What will I be doing?
The Laundry Attendant will ensure that all linens are washed, dried, folded, and ironed to Hilton Standards. These steps need to be done on a daily basis based on room counts. The Laundry Attendant will also ensure the laundry room is clean, organized and safe. The machinery must be kept clean and chemicals utilized efficiently.

Experience
- Experience in Laundry, an asset- Not a requirement
Skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Requirements
- Must be able to work a variety of different shifts including days, evenings & nights
- Must be available weekends, long weekends and holidays
- Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction
Physical Demands
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat and stretch to complete all work functions.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 kilograms.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on ergo mats and move moderate distances.
- Must be able to push and pull carts with a required force of up to 16 pounds.
- Requires frequent twisting of body while loading and unloading dryers. Up to 75 degrees of rotation to either side.
