Part-Time Laundry Washer (1 Position)
Job Description
The position is part-time days with the possibility of working full time (days and afternoons)
- Minimum of one (1) year laundry experience preferred
- Flexible to work days
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates initiate, enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Must be flexible to work days, afternoons including weekends
- Must be detailed oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a timely manner
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced position with guest interaction
- Ability to withstand the physical demands of the position which include continuous movement of lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling along with the ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all the duties of a Laundry Washer which includes, operating the washer and dryers by sorting and loading all linen (sheets, towels, pillowcases and table linen) into the washer and dryer. Additional duties include press and fold linen, inspect all items for damages, thinning, stains and any items to be discarded, along with the constant monitoring of machines for any breakdowns or inefficiencies.
