Full-Time Lawn Care Technician (1 Position)
Job Description
Job Gym is currently assisting VanDuzen Fence who requires a Lawn Care Technician. VanDuzen fence has been in business since 2002 and has been a leader in the fencing and lawn care market in the Niagara Region. They are looking for an employee who is eager to learn and grow within their company. Job requirements will be working Monday through Friday (weekends as weather dictates). Must have full G license or higher and be able to drive pickup truck with trailer. Please note that this is a seasonal position working from mid March (early April) until early to mid December each year (they do not do snow removal). Must have reliable transportation to and from their shop in Sherkston.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience: Lawn Care – 3 years in commercial/residential lawn maintenance
- Must have experience with zero turn mowers, stand on mowers, push mowers, leaf blowers and various gas powered hand tools.
- Must be able to continually lift and carry over 90 pounds
- Must have a G License and clean drivers abstract with reliable transportation
- Education: Secondary School (Preferred)
- Physically fit to perform duties
- This role will involve set up, load and unload materials, preparation and maintain safe and healthy standards. You must be able to work outdoors and in any type of weather conditions.
