Full-Time Line Cook – Hard Rock Cafe (1 Position)
Job Description
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Assist in the efficient operations of the kitchen to ensure customers receive superior service, consistent and quality meals
- Prepare and assemble various menu options
- Follow recipes, food preparation, and cooking instructions
- Clean all kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a sanitary work environment
- Handle food storage and store leftover food properly
- Utilize a wide range of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need as a Line Cook:
Experience: 1+ years’ experience in a high volume restaurant
Education: Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred, minimum Grade 10 or equivalent
Other Qualifications:
- Commitment to quality and hospitality
- Completion of Food Handlers course considered an asset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task, organize time and work efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
