Line Cooks/Prep Cooks/Dishwashers to join our family.
The Grist is a brand new Gastrobrewery opening soon, specializing in (but not limited to) uniquely crafted pizza and small-batch beer. We are a family-owned and family-run business, committed to creating a fun, unique and positive environment and experience both for our team as well as our guests.
We are on the lookout for line cooks seeking an exceptional opportunity to grow and make their own mark in a brand new and unordinary start-up. We are searching for cooks who are willing to learn end excel in a new environment. You will also be expected to maintain a high standard of menu execution in a clean, safe and healthy kitchen environment. We are searching for people who are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. As an integral part of the Grist kitchen team, having an open mind, a hunger to learn and character to inspire others to embody our family values and philosophies to help create an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Schedule:
- Up to 10 hour shifts
- Day and evening shifts
- Holidays, overtime and weekends

Wage: $14.00-$20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Job Duties:
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
